Frequently asked questions
What is an eSIM?
An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM that lets you activate a mobile plan without needing a physical SIM card. It’s downloaded directly to your device, so you can start using it instantly after purchase.
How do I know if my device is eSIM compatible?
Most modern smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches support eSIM. To check:
- Look in your device settings: On iPhone, go to Settings > Cellular/Mobile Data, then look for "Add eSIM" or "Add Cellular Plan." On Android, check Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs.
- Check the manufacturer’s specs: Search online for your device model and “eSIM support.”
- Contact your carrier: They can confirm if your device works with an eSIM.
How many GB are included?
The amount of data depends on the plan you choose. Each eSIM plan clearly shows the data allowance, so you can pick the one that best fits your travel needs.
How long does it take to receive my eSIM after purchase?
You receive your eSIM instantly after purchase. Simply download it to your device and start using it right away.
How do I activate my eSIM?
Activation is easy. Once you receive your eSIM QR code by email, just follow these steps:
- Open Settings on your device.
- Go to Cellular or Mobile Data.
- Select Add a New Plan / Add eSIM and scan the QR code.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to finish activation.
When am I billed?
You’re billed at the time of purchase. There are no additional charges unless you choose another plan.
When does the plan start?
Your plan activates only when the eSIM connects to the network in your destination country, not before.
How do I check how much data I’ve used?
You can check your data usage directly in your device settings. Go to Settings > Cellular / Mobile Data, and you’ll see how much data your eSIM has used so far.
Is it possible to extend my plan or top up?
It is not possible to extend the duration of your plan or add more data. If you need additional time or data, simply purchase another eSIM.
Can I cancel my order or get a refund?
eSIMs are digital products, and once installed or activated, they are considered used and are non-refundable.
However, a refund may be available if your eSIM is unused and unactivated. You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase, provided the eSIM has not been installed, activated, or used.
Please ensure your device is eSIM-compatible before making a purchase.
The device is not connecting.
If your device isn’t connecting, try the following:
- Make sure your eSIM is activated and turned on.
- Enable data roaming in your device settings.
- Restart your device to refresh the network connection.
- Check that the network you’re trying to use is supported in your destination.
- Ensure you still have data available on your plan.
If the issue continues, try selecting a network manually or reinstalling the eSIM.
Can I delete the eSIM after my trip?
Yes. You can remove it in your phone settings at any time.
